Building a Foundation for Success

Building strong foundations
Learning to Learn
“ I Do, We Do, You Do” is the teaching and learning process that builds learning and moves it from teacher modeling, through guided practice to independent practice.
The goal in Junior school is to move student learning from short-term memory and embed it to long-term memory, so students can continually apply the knowledge they acquire. This also builds strong skills in literacy and numeracy, the foundation of all learning at Our Lady’s.
Our learning environments are engaging and promote collaborative play, oral language, curiosity, and discovery.
